Connacht ton up against Toulouse

Heineken Cup new boys, Connacht, will host French aristocrats and the tournament's most successful side, Toulouse, when they play for the first time on home soil.

The Irish province, who are in their first season of Heineken Cup rugby, will welcome the four-times European champions to the Sportsground in Galway on Saturday evening.

Connacht will play their 100th game of European rugby this weekend, with 98 of those having been in the Challenge Cup, were on the end of a 25-17 to Harlequins in their tournament opener in the English capital last weekend.

Toulouse are expected to attract a 9,000 sell-out crowd at one of the most unique grounds in world rugby and a venue where Connacht have won their last seven games in European competition.

The French giants were pushed all the way by Gloucester in their opening game of this campaign but have won 8 of their 13 games against Irish opposition in European competition.
