Robshaw: Emerges with a try for Harlequins

Tries from captain Chris Robshaw and full-back Mike Brown saw Quins chalk up another success.

After a slow start at The Rec, the Londoners took a stranglehold on the contest as they controlled the key areas at the scrum, line-out and breakdown, with Robshaw and Maurie Fa'asavalu excelling in their back row.

Robshaw's close-range effort had helped Quins to a 13-7 lead with Brown's solo efforts six minutes from time killing off hopes of a late Bath fightback. Fly-half Nick Evans contributed 16 points with the boot.

Bath's try came early on through lock Dave Attwood with Sam Vesty adding the conversion and two penalties.

London Irish produced a stunning fightback to grab a dramatic 24-24 draw against Leicester in their clash at Welford Road.

From a seemingly hopeless position at 24-7 inside the final 20 minutes, the Exiles dug deep to claw back the deficit and continue the Tigers poor run of form at home.

Gloucester secured their first victory away from Kingsholm in any competition since February 26 as they outscored Exeter by three tries to two in a 24-19 success.

It was a disappointing performance from the hosts, in front of 9,607 at Sandy Park, as they lacked composure while Gloucester produced a resolute defence.
