Die Burger's annual rugby competition for high schools is getting closer to the semifinal stage with finals set for Saturday, 27 August 2011.

The four provinces in Die Burger's catchments area are involved - Eastern Province and South Western Districts, Boland and Western Province. The divisions are Big Schools, Medium Schools and Small Schools. Each province has its own method for determining which school will represent the province and the schools participating are, naturally, all volunteers.

Big Schools

Paarl Boys' High (Western Province) vs Drostdy (Boland)
Oakdale (South Western Districts), vs Framesby (Eastern Province).

This second match will be played in Riversdale on 13 August 2011.

Medium Schools

Oudtshoorn (South Western Districts) vs Nico Malan (Eastern Province)
President (Western Province) vs Schoonspruit (Boland.

This second match will be played in Malmesbury on Wednesday, 17 August 2011.

Small Schools

Neither Western Province nor South Western Districts have decided which are the Small Schools that will represent them.

In Boland Hawston and Hexrivier will play off to see who will represent Boland.

Only Eastern Province have settled their representative - Itembelihle.
