Griquas have shifted star fullback Riaan Viljoen to the wing for their match with the Sharks in Kimberley on Friday.
Three important Griquas stars wing Richard Lawson, flank Justin Downey and prop Steph Roberts are all unavailable through injury for the match forcing a re-shuffle.
Viljoen moves across to the wing, while Rudi Vogt covers fullback for the match in the only change to the backline.
Up front Jean Botha takes over from Roberts at loosehead, with Ivann Espag called up onto the bench as front row cover.
Skipper Jonathan Mokuena moves to the side of the scrum from No.8 in Downey's absence, while Burger Schoeman starts at the back.
Loose forward Marnus Schoeman and utility backs Monty Dumond and Wilmaure Louw are added to the bench, while there is no place for Warren Malgas.
