Cheetahs sweat on Ebersohn

The Cheetahs have been forced to delay naming their side for their tough clash with the Blue Bulls, as they sweat on the fitness of flyhalf Sias Ebersohn.

Ebersohn left the field with an ankle injury early in the Cheetahs' 40-12 triumph over the Leopards last weekend.

The talented pivot will have a late fitness test this week to determine whether or not he can tackle the Bulls in Pretoria, while hookers Michael van Vuuren (leg) and PW van Vuuren (leg) were also doubtful starters.

Coach Naka Drotské is excited to see how his young forwards are able to cope the pressure of taking on the Bulls at fortress Loftus Versfeld.

"We are improving every week," he told Volksblad. "You could see in the live scrumming sessions, line-out sessions and drives that the forwards are slowly but surely becoming a unit."
