Luke Arscott: Happy that Exeter are under the radar

The Chiefs go into Saturday's Sandy Park appointment with Northampton just three points adrift of the top four, and victory against Saints would keep them firmly in contention.

"We are quite happy with people thinking that we are just a bunch of amateur Joes," Exeter full-back Arscott said.

"We know the effort that we put in and how hard we work as a team, but if other people don't recognise that then it is fine by us.

"This is only our third season in the Premiership, and before long people's perceptions are going to change.

"Getting into the Heineken Cup last year was massive for the club. There has been a real buzz of excitement to have those sort of games here.

"This season, we want to get back into the top six so that we can keep that momentum going, but we know just how competitive the league is."

Elsewhere tomorrow, Gloucester will be firm favourites to see off London Irish at Kingsholm, while Sunday's Premiership action sees Harlequins visiting London Welsh, Saracens hosting Sale Sharks and Wasps entertaining Bath.

Worcester, meanwhile, have taken direct action in an attempt to curb the poor discipline that has impacted on their Premiership campaign.

Warriors go into tonight's clash against Leicester at Sixways on the back of a defeat against Premiership relegation favourites Sale and collecting two more yellow cards.

Their total of 10 sin-binnings this season is the Premiership's highest, and Worcester have now turned to former leading English referee Steve Lander for assistance.

"We've started to work with Steve Lander, and he is helping us to look at the penalties and yellow cards," Worcester head coach Richard Hill said.

"We are serious about addressing this, and I am hoping that Steve will be able to coach our players to not concede those silly penalties.

"We have got to look at it because week in and week out we are conceding too many penalties. Some of them are debatable and some of them are dumb."

Hill makes six changes from the side beaten by Sale, with scrum-half Jonny Arr - he replaces jaw injury victim Paul Hodgson - centre Jon Clarke, hooker Aleki Lutui and flanker Sam Betty among those handed starts.

Tigers boss Richard Cockerill retains just three players - wing Adam Thompstone, scrum-half Ben Youngs and lock Louis Deacon - from the side that accounted for Welford Road visitors Gloucester 17-12 last Saturday.

The most notable switch is at blindside flanker where England international Tom Croft makes his first appearance of the season after recovering from a neck injury that has sidelined him since last April.
