Paris: Could becomes the youngest player at a RWC

The 18-year-old made his international against Belgium in 2010 and has already been capped by the Sevens team.

And Paris is now set to eclipse USA's Thretton Palamo, who was 19 years and eight days old when he came off the bench against South Africa in 2007.

"I broke my hand about four months ago and so I wasn't sure how I would go," he told the IRB site.

"When I saw my name in the 50-man roster for the World Cup I was so excited.

"So when Kieran (Crowley, the Canadian coach) told me that I had made the final squad, it was just so, so exciting. This is the absolute pinnacle."

Canada will play Tonga, France, Japan and New Zealand at the tournament.
