    With the temperature chill and a blowy wind out of the west, Pioneers hunted Tigers and those Big Cats turned frequent on their pursuit on the heated StoveTop. Three lead changes in the second stanza and the winning score at the death meant excitement enough to palpitate one’s heart well as the two NSCRO schools sorted out which club would return to Infinity in three weeks time for a shot at national championship hardware.

    With sunny skies and a hoppy little blow coming out of the west, the Black Monks and the Keelhaulers got down to the business of rugby Sunday morning at Infinity’s StoveTop and at the physical and lively match’s conclusion, victory to the Californians was the order of the day. Maritime’s kick, chase, harry and gather proved the magic while Benedictine’s uncertainty on counter made the rough work for its mobile forwards and much yardage covered was required throughout the course of the contest of the big men.
