    N. Florida Edges William & Mary in NSCRO SE Penn Region Championship

    The University of North Florida, Rugby South D3 Champion, escaped from Virginia with a thrilling 17-15 win over the Virginia RU D3 Champion, The College of William and Mary, on an overcast and damp day at Lafayette Park in Norfolk, Virginia to win the SouthEast Penn Region Championship. UNF now advances to the NSCRO National Championship at Infinity Park in Glendale, Colorado on April 28-29.

    California Maritime Academy Win California Cup

    The California Maritime Academy won the California Cup by beating the visiting California Lutheran University Knights 23 to 7. The inaugural California Cup pitted NorCal’s NSCRO representative Cal Maritime against Cal Lutheran, Southern California’s undefeated D3 champion, for the right to head onto NSCRO’s national championships of the top 16 teams in the nation.

    Dartmouth Takes Out Cayman Selects 42-27

    Playing in the second match of their spring tour to the Cayman Islands, the Dartmouth Rugby 1st XV found themselves in another dogfight against the Cayman Selects side Tuesday night. After beating the 2nd XV Saturday the local side was expected to be a strong opponent and by no means did they disappoint, going up 27-25 with under 15 minutes left in the game. But thanks to late push in which they scored 17 points in the final 10 minutes, the Big Green were able to pull out the win.
