Vickers: Has signed a two-year deal with the Falcons

The 30-year-old made his debut for the club during the 2006-07 season - with Vickers going on to bring up a century of appearances.

And Vickers, who went on to play for the Saxons during the 2010 Churchill Cup, is delighted to be extending his stay at Kingston Park.

"Newcastle Falcons is a club that I have been at my entire professional career and it is a club that I love," said Vickers.

"There have been a lot of changes at the club over the years and the ambition that Semore Kurdi has shown since he got involved with the club has really impressed me."
