Vickers: One-week ban

At a Rugby Football Union disciplinary hearing in Durham on Monday, Hall pleaded guilty to the charge of kicking an opponent contrary to law 10(4)(c), while Vickers also offered a guilty plea to the charge of striking an opponent contrary to law 10(4)(a).

Both players will miss Friday's trip to Worcester but will be free to play again from March 28, meaning they can return to face Sale on March 30.

The case against fellow Newcastle player Tai Tu'ifua, who was cited for a dangerous tackle in the Harlequins match, was dismissed.
