Birkett: Back in Wasps line-up

Dai Young's Londoners will be seeking rapid revenge for their defeat in France last weekend.

Richard Birkett and Rob Webber have recovered from minor injuries and return to the starting line-up, while Elliot Daly and Richard Haughton return to the back division.

Dom Waldouck drops to the bench, while winger Tom Varndell is given a rest after picking up a slight knock in the 19-11 loss in France on Saturday.

There is one positional shift with Sam Jones moving across the back row to openside flanker.

New Bayonne coach and former Japan boss Jean-Pierre Elissalde has tinkered with his side after getting off to the perfect start in his position by beating Wasps in his first game at the helm.

Elissalde has made six changes to his starting line-up, three in the pack as well as three in his back division.

Aretz Iguiniz and David Roumieu come into the front row replace Vitolio Manukula and Francois Da Ros respectively, while Abdellatif Boutaty is given the nod over New Zealander Troy Flavell and partners South African skipper Robin Linde in the second row.

Mike Phillips drops to bench and as Cedric Garcia starts at scrum-half, Thibault Lacriox is handed the number 13 shirt as Sam Gerber makes way, while Marvin O'Connor replaces last weekend's try-scorer Yohan Huget on the wing.
